MAKING TACOS! Club house + influenster Collab

Hey everyone!

This first off is a semi sponsored post. I received the club house spices from Influenster. For those who do not know Influenster is a website where you can receive products to test and then review. I will say it is one of the harder ones to get things for free from unless you are very active and have a lot of social media presence. That's another day's topic, ON TO THE TACOS!

So I was sent two different packages of spices to test out. I haven't had the chance to test the second one yet but I have to say this one was pretty tasty! It is the same as basically any powdered spices. Add water and then add to you're meal. I have definitely used these types of spices before but this was the first time I used a club house powder one. (Their fajita sauce one is a default ones for cooking fajitas)

So I just chopped up a bunch of vegetables. I just threw in what we had in the fridge, some bell peppers, tomato and mushroom. Onion would have been good as well. Honestly vegetables you really can't go wrong with throwing them in. I don't eat ground beef. So I used ground turkey. Really you could use any ground meat though and if you're vegetarian hard tofu or mixed mushrooms would be a good replacement.

What I used:
1/2  red pepper
1/2 yellow pepper
1/2 orange pepper
1 medium sized tomato
1 large mushroom
teaspoon of olive oil
300-500 grams of ground turkey
Club house organic taco spice

This is super easy! Chop all the vegetables: Bell pepper, red, yellow and orange, a whole medium sized tomato and one really large mushroom. I used the entire pack of turkey which was about 300 grams. The package says to use 500 but I think I had at least 200 grams of vegetables to make up for it haha. Turn on the heat to high, once the pan is warm you only want to put the vegetables in.

Add about a teaspoon of Olive oil into the pan and fry for about 5 minutes.

After about 5 minutes through the turkey in, quickly followed by the spices. I premixed my spices with the water in a measuring cup but you can just mix it in the pan. I prefer to mix it ahead of time because then it's a little more even. Cook until the turkey is cooked and the sauce will also get a bit thicker and less watery.

In the mean time I put the tortilla's in the oven wrapped in tinfoil at about 300F for 10 minutes.

Then you take your meat/vegetables. Add salsa, spinach and cheese. Really whatever you like to the taco to finish it off. My boyfriend likes our cream. The best thing about tacos is you can really customize them. I also opted for soft tacos because they tend to be less messy. Anyways that's it!

I really enjoyed this spice mix. It's one of the best powder ones I've tried. I highly recommend anything by club house really. Their spices are always solid! I use the Montreal steak spice on a lot of of my meals  (which are not steaks haha).

What is you're favourite spices mix? Lemme know down below! Hope you enjoyed this strange break from the usual stuff.
