Lazy Lolita Wardrobe Post

SO as a special mid week post... Here is my lolita wardrobe.
Sorta... If you have ever tried to take a picture of every item in your closet you know how terrible of an idea this is. LOL so I decided I would Share the dresses I own at the moment mostly. I do have some photos of other items but quite honestly after the 20th photo I got bored and no longer wanted to do a wardrobe post and I've been trying to write this one since new years.
I feel like I should also start this post by explaining that Lolita is a Fashion from japan that is loosely based on Victorian fashion and has nothing to do with the novel. Though a lot of people think it's a costume it's a fashion and well quite frankly it has a ton of rules, that I treat more like very loose guidelines. haha Click Here to learn more about Lolita.
Dresses:
I have a rule that I'm not allowed more then 10 dresses at a time because it's just too many. Also I live in Vancouver where space is pretty small. It actually used to be 5 but this past year I expanded to 10. haha You will notice a few themes within my wardrobe.

Accessories :
Lol this is where I got very lazy. I skipped all my jewelry and kinda gave up on trying to photograph all the lolita accessories. I also didn't take photos of my shoes (lol which would have been the most work as it's the largest part of my collection). On the opposite side: I didn't leave out bags.. this is my only lolita bag lol.

Ton of Hair Accessories. Headbows Mostly from AP but also Antique Beast, Putomayo, Enchantily, Choco Mint, Ardenes, Handmade and more.

AP wrist cuffs, Daiso wrist Cuffs (that are actually scrunchies)

So that's it! Not a huge lolita wardrobe but I like to keep things to a minimum and to what I REALLY want (lol I was going to say need but really...) What does your wardrobe look like? What are your favourite Items?
The next post will be about food and a make up look for Valentines day or if you prefer (like me) the day after ; Half priced chocolate day!

What does JSK stand for?
ReplyDeleteJsk is short for jumperskirt which is what everyone calls the dresses. I'm actually not sure why haha I assume because of the Victorian influence?
DeleteMujitsu I'm very interested in the Angelic Pretty Bat Bag the 2 petticoats and the bloomers but am wondering if anyone have bought them yet and if not how much they are?
ReplyDeleteAs well as your bat tights if they are still available?
ReplyDeleteAnd most especially I'm definitely interested in Angelic Pretty Harlequinade Partial Shirring Jsk if nobody has bought it off you yet?
