Tokyo Treat NMNL review

Today's post was a review is a little bit different. I haven't used a lot of these products yet so I can't say how good they are but I wanted to show you the NMNL box from February.

This is the first box and I have to say I'm pretty pleased. I'm really not a fan of subsrcription boxes but I keep getting sucked into the Japanese make up boxes. I don't know if I'll continue past March but we will see.

What most people wanna know is am I getting my monies worth? SO here is a rough run down. Please note it's obviously not 100% accurate things can go on sale and I'm sure that they got a deal on buying wholesale

 

Cost: 30 usd (includign shipping)

Estimated Values:

Sailor Moon Lashes/case : 1200yen

Zawachin Eyeshadow palette: 400yen

Dolly Wink Lash glue: 1000 yen

Hello Kitty Face Masks - 1000yen

Sakura soap- 100yen

Hand cream - 100 yen

Total:  3800yen (34usd)

So the total works out to more then the value of the box and it doesn't include shipping.

 

     

Overall it's much better then the Japan crate in quality. They also respond to comments (and hide the bad ones... not cool) on their facebook page. Looking for suggestions and what people would like. 

I will say this is clearly better catered to what people would like and trends that people use. I am still not a huge fan of the child like make up that japan offers but this one is a tad more mature. However it is a clearly cheap palette at about 4 dollars. I suppose it would be too much to want them to include something more pricey amongst the other items. 

The one thing I'm super pleased with is the Dolly Wink glue. I have never used their glue (generally I use D.U.P which is also Japanese) So I can't wait to try these. I always want more lashes and lash cases are just a bonus so the sailor moon lashes are great. I did already order all 5 of them previous to getting this so I can't say I cared which I got though I did hope it would be Mars.

 

The best part of the box for me, was Kimi trying to shove her big butt into it. The picture really does give a thousand words. "Life"
