Just the Misses - Products that were so great.

Today I'm going to share some of the misses of products I've tried. I should start this by saying I've bought all of these products and I'm clearly not sponsored haha. Also just because it doesn't work for me doesn't me it's not for you or that particular brands are bad.

Josie Maran Mud masks and TonyMoly sheet masks

   

These ones are hard... I LOVE masks. I am forever using masks I try to use them 2 times a week. Really mask a difference on your skin and sometime I totally recommend to everyone.  These particular masks just were not for me.

Josie Maran is such an amazing brand is actually one of the only fully cruelty free brands Sephora carries for skin care. These masks just fell really flat for me. I received the full set from my mom at Christmas last year. There were 5 and they all do the same thing and all smell pretty plasticy. I feel like if you're going to off a set a masks they should do different things other then be different colours and slightly different smells. They are not particularly cheap either, the set is about 60 dollars for these small testers.  I didn't find they did anything spectacular for my skin. over all these masks just aren't worth it. There are way better options.

Tony Moly... OH BOY! First, I did love Tony Moly lip products and skin care but I've stopped buying TM because they are not cruelty free. I do have some other sheet mask from their "lab" collection that are much better. These particular masks are such a strange shape. I receieved these in a month of IPSY, so I didn't pay for them. They didn't fit my face. I dont have a particular large face and most masks are a bit big but this one was terrible. It was too small and the eye holes were so far apart it was like you had to have your eyes on the side of your head. I can't tell you how the mask product works because of this. lol

Lil Moon Contacts

So I fairly recently got glasses( Like within the last year, I have the weakest prescription lol) . I've wanted to have options of contacts. I had herd this particular brand was great. They are absolutely comfortable and not bad for occasional use. However lol they do not offer any blue colours, only darker colour contacts. I thought I would try these but they do not cover up the colour of my eyes to make them hazel they blend together with my blue and make my eyes look super creepy. I haven't thrown these out though... probably great for Halloween. They were also super reasonably priced about 15-20 dollars for 10 pack. If you are wondering how I got these from japan. KNOW COSMETICS No, My Lips Are Sealed Lipstick Topcoat

First this product is a mouth full to say. Haha I received this in the Chickadvisor Preium package. It was just not for me. It's also quite useless in the current trend of lip products. Since most things are matte and long lasting. I just do not like how this feels on top of things. I don't really Have much more to say about this. I will say that 80% of what i receieved in the CA preium package was a PASSSSSS.... I dont think I will be re-subbing to it next year. The coupons are aimed at a different market then I am in and the package I receieved was jsut filled with things I gave away or tried and hated. 

Loreal Lash Paradise Mascara and Marcelle Eyeliner Pencil

    

Here are a couple eye products I just hated. Haha they are both pink too.

Mecelle pencil is really simple reason. There is no pigment. It is so sheer it's completely useless.

The L'Oreal Marcara is very much a preference thing. I wouldn't say this product it's terrible, it's just not the style of lashes I like. Everyone says that this a dup for the Too faced Better then sex mascara and it might very well be. I didn't like that one either. I will say the formula is DEFINITELY water proof. It wasn't hard to remove but overall the style just wasn't for me. Also for those of you looking to know: this brand is not cruelty free. 

Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint

This foundation I actually started out loving but it is so mattifying I've found in the summer it looks terrible on my Skin. It just does not work well with even remotely dry skin. My pores are huge and it really clings to any dry patches... not a great summer foundation. I will try it again in the winter.

It Is a good quality but I'm sure you know by now Nars this year announced they are going to sell in china. SO they are no longer cruelty and I just will not buy from them anymore. I really loved Nars despite them being quite pricey. However I love animals too much to support a company that literally thinks a couple extra dollars is worth hurting animals. I was very heart broken by that announcement.
