Halloween Looks - Kuchisake - onna / Slit mouth women - #1

HEY !!!

Long time coming! Here is my first Youtube video ever! I apologize for the flaws. I know it's not perfect I already learned quite a bit just from doing this once. Even with film experience I have I am always learning. (at work too!) I hope you enjoy it!

This first look is inspired by Kuchisake. Which is a Japanese urban legend that goes as far back as the Edo period. She would cover her bottom face and and meet people on the streets late at night to ask if she is pretty. Regardless of your answer she would later reveal her split or slit mouth and your end was most likely not good. (you can read all about her here on wiki)

I absolutely LOVE Japanese horror. If you haven't seen the original Ring and Grudge, it is a MUST watch for this Halloween season! I would also recommend One Missed Call, Hair Extensions, Ichi the Killer, Suicide Club, Audition and of course Kuchisake has her own movie as well!

Not to  discount all the amazing horror movies that have come from Asia of course! You should also check out Three Extremes. It is an awesome one to watch. It's three short stories all different directors from across Asia.

What did I used?

I purposely used only make up products and things you can easily find in store. Nothing too complicated. Keeping it easy to find for Halloween! Below is a full list of products. The Video of course also shows all the products I used. It's a nice simple look and if you're not filming takes about 20-30 minutes to do!
