CoverGirl Products BzzAgent Review + Halloween Flashback

Here we go! another review! This one is sponsored. However this is 200% my opinion and not altered because they were free.  I received Both of these items from BzzAgent. If you do not know what Bzzagent is: it is a website which gives everday people chances to try new products and review them. I highly recommend them. they only offer you thing that they think you would like. You can also turn down things that you may not have time for or are just not interested in. This is my 5th or 6th trial I've done for them.

Also below I am going to flash back briefly to Halloween. I didn't have this blog going then I wanted to share a little from my favourite holiday.

SO Lashy! Extreme Marcara and Intensify me! Intense Black eyeliner

Quicky Review (out of 5 ❤) :
Price: ❤❤❤❤
Quality: ❤❤
Value: ❤❤

The quicky review above is probably being nice. Honestly I'm not going to be using these again. Let's start with both and then I will go into more about each.

SO Lashy! Extreme Marcara and Intensify me! Intense Black eyeliner. What is intense are these names. Covergirl spends way too much time trying to make things sound cool and not enough on the actual products. Both of these have too much packaging and gimmicks instead of focusing on what is actually needed.

SO Lashy! Extreme Marcara

At first glance this Mascara looks like most of Covergirl's mascaras. The packaging is so unnecessary. Why does the wand need to come out of the bottle? Those who care about the environment this is a nice kick. This mascara wand is a nightmare. There are gaps, it chunks your mascara on and ruins the product entirely. I will say the product works much better applied with another normal shaped wand. This brings me back to the gimmick thing: we don't need this wand, nor do we want it. The formula its self is basically like any other covergirl one. It's ok. If you want a cheap mascara it's decent but this brush makes it a waste of time.

Intensify me! Intense Black eyeliner

I really love eyeliner. This one at first glance isn't bad. As you can see by my swatch on my hand it's very pigmented. It does bleed at bit (you can see it more on the thinner side). The gimmick with this one is that it has both a thick and thin tip. This for those who are not experienced make up users (Who is generally Covergirl's target market) is a nightmare! After wearing it for about half a day I had to wipe it off my face because it smudged and looked like I'd be crying. It doesn't seem to be remotely water proof. In combination with the bleeding I just wouldn't use this again. I'm not sure whom I could recommend this too either.

Over all both these products are just MEH. I wouldn't recommend them. I Like covergirl for cheap make up but these are both a waste fo money.

FLASH BACK

On a more happy note!! I Thought I would share my Halloween Haul and costume ^_^

I ordered a couple things from japan. My old friend Tenshi shop did all the work for me of all this. I have reviewed her shop many times over the years. I have used her service since 2008. She is always super fast, reliable and basically if you want anything from Japan and are not sure how to order it: go to her. I promise you will not be disappointed. She also has a shop now which I have linked above.

I apologize if the names are off. I do not remember half of them now and some of them are not on Angelic Pretty's site anymore. If you are internet in items like these Tenshi can help you purchase them.

Angelic pretty Halloween Haul:
Magic Amulet jsk - Lavender
Holy Cross Carigan - Black
Holy Cross Shoes - Black
Bat Headband - Gold
Trick or Treat Bat necklace - Lavender
Chat noir Necklace and Ring - Lavender

I also ordered Pokemon Centre Halloween Badge (I've started collecting them... because I don't collect enough things already lol). Tenshi Shop also included a couple goodies and a Thank you note. Always appreciated ^_^ If you have more questions about her shopping service or items I got leave them below.

Halloween!!

Because it's my favourite holiday I baked cupcakes for work. Chocolate are the usual but the vanilla ones are vegan. If you're interested in my recipes they aren't very secret. I just google most things I do.

My Costume: Totoro

First I have to say I am super proud I actually completed a costume. There are obvious flaws but it's not too bad considering I spend probably about 6-8hrs total on it. It is two layers. Soot fairies are are made from pom poms and felt.  I'm not going to go into big details of construction because it's not my best work. I picked up all materials at Dressew (fabric store here in Vancouver) or at Micheal's (craft store).

Here is the finished product ^_^

Rundown:
Choker: Angelic Pretty
Dress and ears: Handmade by me
Wig: Prisila
Contacts: Cosqueen
Lashes: Eyemazing
Boots: Axes Femme

I had My nails done to match. This was done by the talented Cynthia at Minoko nail's on granville st. If you'd like to save 5-10% show them this photo and tell them you were recommended to come. (no benefit to me, just awesome place)

My Next couple posts will be about the starting of Christmas and the Kylie Cosmetic's Review. Any request of items to review? Want to see more of something? Question? comments? let me know down below!
