It's beginning to look a lot like... CHRISTMAS!@?!

It's that time! Not my favourite holiday but you definitely can't help but get into the spirit. I do love what Christmas stands for at it's roots though. Cheer, being with people you love and showing them you care. Now if they could just give me an excuse to dress up in a costume other then a fat guy in red I'd be all over it lol.

Vancouver has it's share of decorations. There is a tree near my house with hundreds of lights on it. As well as these trees in central downtown. They are very beautiful.

 

Also for the first time in a few years it's snowed. The first day was nightmare. Everyone is super unprepared for this sort of thing out here. I could tell who was and wasn't from Vancouver though that day. Everyone from the east coast was making fun of it. Myself included. I know not nicest behaviour. I'm sure I'm on the naughty list already though for something else.You will here about it a bit further down.

Being me I also love shopping for other people. I'm actually already done and am just waiting for the last bits to come in the mail. So The only shopping I needed to do was purchase a Christmas dress and sweater. I've done one of the two and I ended up buying online just because I wasn't willing to spend big bucks on myself. I can't share things I bought as gift year since a majority of the people reading this are people I bought gifts for haha.

 

There are lots of cool things out right now.  Christmas Beer. Christmas sweaters. I've found a lot of funny ones but the ones I want don't seem to be knitted and I want that classic look while also being nerdy or just funny. At this point it's too late to order online so I will have to actually cave in purchase on in stores soon.

  

These adorable Pusheen Ornaments are limited edition blond boxes. I just stumbled across them in Metrotown. I bought three as you can see -_-' and well shows my luck. There are 8-10 designs and all 3 boxes I got were the same. haha So I gave away the extra two as early gifts. I do want to get more designs to add to my tree right now just one looks strange. The cute reindeer beauty blender knock off was a winners.

 

It's not Christmas for me without checking out the comic store haha. Golden age on Granville have a ton of items that are christmas themed. Harley and the Sailor Moon figures we're highlights for me. Ironic next to each other. In  forever 21 they had this cute tree purse (returning their child sized clothing i'd bought online... don't shop there) I imagine the person would go great with an ugly sweater or lolita christmas themed outfit. I won't be shopping at forever 21 any time soon though. They have a terrible return policy and even worse sizing and staff.

   

Christmas continues in London Drugs with this classy Turkey hat and Die Hard colouring book. Haha yes I do count it as a Christmas movie. Though honestly My favourite Christmas movie is Christmas Vacation or Elf. I would say Nightmare Before Christmas but that is a dual holiday movie. I picked up wrapping party at Homesense. I felt it was paper that was both nice and reflected me. I will have to get different paper now that I've shown it everywhere for my Secret Santas. I have one for family and work.

The cat's helped and signed the packages from them. Haha if you follow my snapchat you know Kimi didn't wanna give away one gift in particular. I still have some wrapping to go but almost everything I already have is wrapped.

 

This is the extent of my Christmas Decorations currently. I have moved around a lot of my life and really I only bought this tiny tree last year. I just bought the lights this year from london drugs. I also got some advent calendars (Which I've now ruined by eating ahead lol) from Safeway. They were half price because it was already past December 1st.  The Hello Kitty is an ornament ment for a regular sized tree but on my tree works perfectly as the topper.

 

After Christmas last year I bought this little TsumTsum key-chains from Japan and thought they would make for cute decorations on my tree but they are pretty tiny and not really visible from afar. Also both the cats did not like Donald Duck on the bottom of the tree. They never attack the tree  but him being on the bottom they wouldn't leave it alone. haha This is why I was hoping to get some of the Pusheen ornaments. I think it would add a nice variety.

Here's where I end up on the naughty list. While pulling this stuff out I noticed I was lacking a stocking. -_-' For the life of me I cannot find it. I am hoping I've just forgotten a place I put it. I spent all this Saturday looking for it and asking my mom if she was trolling me and actually had it. I lost the stocking I've had since I was 9... 21 years.. lol older then my sister. I know I'm sorry Nan >_<  I know it's like the cheques all over again. I'm hoping I can still find it.

I got my first card in the mail. haha from my Mom of course. I'd say my sister and step dad too but this early and organized is definitely my mom. Haha not that i'm one to talk. I've still not finished writing mine. haha Maybe because I'm going home this year I can just hand them to people. I know it's not as fun but it's a really busy month.

Finally, I did get my nails done Christmasy for the first time ever at Minoko. Cynthia did an amazing job as always. ^_^ It's a combination of both her and my creativity and a photo I found on the internet.
