New hair cut and colour

Hey Everyone!

This has been a long time in planning. I've been debating on dying my hair again since about December. I haven't done anything to my hair colour wise since the disaster that was last June. When I wanted to change my Red Ombre to a strawberry Blonde Ombre and some how ended up with grey >__< . So I braved a salon again. This time I went to Zeal on Robson.

I have been to Zeal many times over the years. They are pretty reasonably priced and everyone is friendly. I will say it is a Japanese salon so some people do not have the best English. However, if you don't speak Japanese don't worry too much there is always someone who is fully bi-lingual in there. Just if a stylist is quiet that is probably why.

So here is the before: as you can see I'm all over the place blonde lol . This is a combination of natural (the top) and some random highlights and things from fixing that horrible grey die job. I also needed a hair cut.

I do tend to do a lot of things at home myself but when you are going to do something dramatic DO NOT DO IT AT HOME. Bleaching and dramatic things can seriously destroy your hair and you should always go to a professional no matter how smart you may be.

First they  bleached my roots to blend better with the bottom of my hair.

They they put the pink on and wrapped me in some plastic. lol

Here is the finished product. In several lights so you can see it. It turned out perfect. I love it very much! What do you think?

After Care

Remember when I said I do tend to do a lot of things at home? This is where I come in! To keep the pink in my hair I bought this semi permanent pink and I mixed it into my conditioner. So it keeps the colour longer. Once it really starts to fade I will use this or a similar dye to really put it back in. Maybe even add some others.

I can't particularly recommend this brand but it claims to be created by youtube beauty gurus. I general use Special effects  but I would like to try Arctic Fox next!

Wishing for spring I got me some bubble tea. haha with no Bubbles. Mango green tea with rainbow jellies. I can't wait for spring to pull out my dresses and skirts and to be able to walk everywhere. What do you get in your bubble tea? What are you looking forward to most about spring?
